Each agent belongs to one or more agent groups. Users who have joined the agent group via the user group can see the agents and agent groups.

An agent can be joined into agent groups by selecting the "Agents" tab and selecting the agents that are assigned to the agent group.

A user group can be joined into an agent group by selecting the "User groups" tab and selecting the user groups that you want to associate with the agent group.

By selecting device groups, agents can be selected that read devices belonging to this agent group. This can be used, for example, when the devices are not publicly readable and it is desired that the device group belonging to this agent group can be read only by agents assigned to this agent group.
All agents can read the meters that are not joined to any agent group.
