HAN Interface of meter | for DLMS smart meters

Hello,

I am working with a smart energy meter using Gurux.

I successfully connected to the meter using the optical interface (IEC 62056-21) and was able to:

Read meter data Zpa am165

Read the meter name/identification

I then tried to connect using the Ethernet (HAN) port with:

Laptop → USB-to-Ethernet adapter

Direct Ethernet cable to the meter

No router in between

The Ethernet link does not come up (Windows shows network cable unplugged,)

Hi,

Check first is the HAN Ethernet port. It's usually the serial port.
