Introducing Gurux DLMS/COSEM for Java Micro Edition
Gurux DLMS/COSEM for Java Micro Edition is a protocol component, whose purpose is to offer an easy-to-use component for Java ME developers, to communicate with energy measuring devices.
With this component, you can easily create your own data collecting systems, to build an Automatic Meter Reading system (AMR), to meet your specific needs.
If You have any questions, problems, or suggestions, concerning Gurux DLMS/COSEM for Java ME, kindly, post a message at the forum.
I downloaded the Gurux DLMS for ME code and the compiler reported several places where there SEEMS to be missing breaks in switch statements (see at the bottom of the message)
The first 2 are not a problems because the methods throw exceptions,
but the other 3 seems to me to be bugs....
I want to implement a DLMS client in my embedded board.(ARM Cortex-M4)
Are there any specific requirements for the DLMS ME library such as J2ME version?
Which version of J2ME is supported by DLMS for ME?
Are there any minimum RAM/ROM requirements?
Other than this forum, is there anywhere else to get more information about DLMS for ME?
I cannot find any description elsewhere.
If I have some technical troubles during development of DLMS for ME in my embedded board,
where/who can I ask?
I have an application in python that uses an optical probe to communicate with a meter. I identify with the emter correctly. The problem comes when I want to ask for data. I have these frames taken from the gxdlms:
