Communication from Rs485 port of meter to Gurux Director

Hi
I have connected the meter RS485 to PC USB port via Rs485-USB convertor.

The virtual port is created by PC and it is listing.

But Director shows error "Device doesnot exists was specified"

Genus meter is connected and the same can be read thru Director thru Optical port.
Any help in this regard is appreciated
