Hi - I am attempting to connect to an Iskraemeco ME162 Meter using an OPTO USB Serial device, I am able to read live values from the Meter using Test of IEC1107 software supplied from Meter Test equipment where I purchased the OPTO USB device.
I cannot however seem to connect using the GXDLMS Director software, tried using the initial settings as posted on this website, I have selected serial and matched settings (e.g. COM port and baud rate etc to the device) however the device fails to connect - I am hoping someone has done this before and are able to share settings or provide tips?

Hi Kieran,
Iskraemeco ME162 doesn't support DLMS. It only supports IEC 62053-21 and for that reason you can't read it with GXDLMSDirector.

The basic 'Test of IEC1107' software I have only allows me to read from the meter, I would like to be able to update the time and date on the meter.

There are differences between meter implementations for IEC 62053-21.
The writing especially varies between meter manufacturers. You should ask the meter vendor which software to use.
