Dear Gurux Team,
I am facing a DLMS communication issue while connecting to an L&T energy meter using a USB probe and GXDLMSDirector.
I consistently receive the following error:
"Failed to receive reply from the device in given time."
Please find the details below:
Setup:
Tool: GXDLMSDirector
Connection: USB to Serial Probe (Optical)
Meter: Larsen & Toubro (L&T) DLMS Meter
Port Settings:COM2
Baud Rate: 300 (also tried 9600)
Data Bits: 8
Client Address: 11/16/17
Password: lnt1
Authentication: Low (also tested None)

Hi,
One of your settings is different from what your meter expects. Try to connect without authentication first (Authentication level is None).
Because you are using an optical probe, try to change the interface type to HdlcWithModeE. If you don't get a reply from the meter, change the interface type to HDLC and try with different baud rates until you can establish the connection to the meter.
