Hi Mikko,
I have problem with Gurux.DLMS.Simulator.
When I want to run the Gurux.DLMS.Simulator it shows me the following error:
Invalid device template file simulator_template.xml

Command:
C:\dlms\GuruX\GitHub\CSharp\Gurux.DLMS.Net\Gurux.DLMS.Net-master\Gurux.DLMS.Simulator.Net\bin\Release>Gurux.DLMS.Simulat
or.Net.exe -p 8000 -x simulator_template.xml -t Verbose -N 10
DLMS HDLC Logical Name simulator start in ports 8000-8009.
Invalid device template file simulator_template.xml

Can you help me, please?

Hi Martin,

Have you read all values from the meter and create the simulator template? Something like this:
Gurux.DLMS.Simulator.Net.exe -S COM8 -o simulator_template.xml -t Verbose

Hi Mikko,
thanks for your answer. I reading all values from the meter. I will try to creating simulator template. I need to find out the value of the total data volume of the data reading. Can you advise me? How to do it?

Is there any way to create a customized Simulator by providing various OBIS code?

Hi,

OBIS codes are saved for the XML file, so it's quite easy to modify it for your needs.
The easiest is if you read the existing meter and then add missing OBIS codes.

How I set up communication the electic meter SM402D from the factory Meter&Control.
I don't find to setting at SW GX for "add device".

Hi,

I checked from the meter's factsheet that the meter is supporting only IEC 62056-21. This means that you can't read the meter with DLMS. You can find more information about this:
