M&M spec is not accessible?
We are not supporting M&M at the moment because no on of clients is using M&M meters. We will add support if our clients buy M&M meters and need support.
Basically you are right, but as I told before we are not supporting M&M and I do not know much from that protocol.

I have installed latest version of GuruxDLMSdirector and connect to ENEL GIST i have. I created new manufacturer using Italian standard template , just changing manufacturer label to EDi. Connecting via serial port. This is from LOG file

Important to say is that I switch Start protocol from DLMS to IEC. afterwhile Error appears on screen.
It is ENEL Distibuzione Italy company. Smart meter is GIST model, three phase. Also meter and mores protocol is in use here, So that could be a problem.
I thought if handshake passed and meter returns serial number for further communication maybe some settings are problem. I turned on also Verbose mode and it seems that after command moving to mode E sent to meter communication parameters are changed and meter returns zeros.

If I remember right They use Telegestore meters in that project and
protocol is Meters And More. (http://www.metersandmore.com/tag/protocol/)
We are not supporting Meters And More at the moment. We will start supporting Meters And More if our customers need that.

I have found that about DSLM on official site of M&M. You can download presentation in Geneve, from March if remember well.
I thought about protocol M&M specification. Is this document opened and can be used?
In case that Handshake passed and meter returns values as expected, what does mean that? Meter could be read ?

Model is ENEL GIST 2013 also from Italy.

I believe that your meter is not supporting DLMS. Check is there a DLMS label on the cover of the meter.

You need to ask this from someone else.
