There is no gurux folder under the commonfiles (either usual or Prgram Files (x86) folder).
I renamed the existing Gurux.Net.dll in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Gurux\GXDLMSDirector 7.0 Community Edition folder and then copied the newly downloaded dll to that folder.
When I try to connect I get exactly the same error message.

We have fix this. You can download new version from
http://www.gurux.org/Downloads/Gurux.Net_7.0.6.1.dll.zip
Unzip it and copy it to the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Gurux\GXCom folder.
We will continue tests are it is relased with next releases.
