Hi, Im new to smart meters and I want to develop a java application that sends last data measured from a Raspberry pi 3 to a microsoft azure database.
Im using the ITRON (actaris) ACE 6000 and getting all the data via Serial port. I have already configured the smart meter using the ACE Pilot and thus only need to read the following 2 addresses:
What I don't know is how to specify that I want the latest values measured.
If there is any tutorial to get started with this code snippet. I would appreciate it!
Also I try to read the values with the GXDLMSDirector, but it won't let me access to them. This is the answer: "Action accomplish", "Access Error: Device reports a hardware fault"
Download gurux.dlms.client.example.java and try to read your meter with it.
Your meter is a little bit older and I'm not sure if your meter supports VZ.
You can try.
Try to read profile generic using logical name 0.0.99.1.0.1
If that is working meter returns the latest value. If not, then you need to do this by your self.
You need to read amount of the rows (entries_in_use) from the meter. Then you need to use ReadByEntry -method to read the last row.
